Slim-fit; runs small.
This T-shirt, featuring trim along the collar and sleeve cuffs, is crafted from a lightweight Turkish fabric with a density of 180–185 g/m². The material is a blend of 95% cotton and 5% Lycra (combed cotton jersey). Thanks to the Lycra content, the shirt won’t shrink after washing and offers a slight stretch. The large print on the chest is applied using a direct-printing technique—specifically, a discharge process with water-based inks. Because the ink penetrates the fabric fibers directly (rather than sitting on top as a separate, non-porous layer), the shirt remains breathable, which is a major advantage in hot weather. It is worth noting a drawback to this printing method: the vibrancy of the design tends to fade slightly after the first wash. While using the highest-quality inks available—which is what I strive to do—can help mitigate this, it is impossible to eliminate it entirely. For this reason, many printers take a shortcut by sticking to soft, pastel-toned designs that avoid bright, saturated colors. Before printing, each T-shirt is treated with a special primer to ensure the ink adheres for the long term. If your shirt arrives fresh off the press, it may carry a faint, characteristic odor; there’s no need to worry—this will dissipate on its own over time.
